Pegasus Inclined Platform Lift
The Pegasus inclined platform lift is custom-built to provide access over stairs with multiple levels, curves, or intermediate landings. This lift carries a passenger in a wheelchair, up to 660 lbs, by travelling along a rail system mounted alongside the stairs.
Features
An alternative to an elevator or vertical platform lift, the Pegasus IPL requires minimal construction. For residential and commercial use (where code permits); indoor and outdoor applications (moderate climates only). The Savaria Pegasus lift replaces the Omega inclined platform lift.
Flexible Installation
It is custom built to your specifications to fit staircases with inside and outside curves, spiral stairs or multiple levels. There is minimal construction required. It provides access without significant renovations.
Space-Saving Design
The Pegasus IPL has a sleek design with a foldaway and optional out-of-the-way parking that harmonizes with any building design.
Standard Features
Constant pressure buttons to move the lift up and down, pedestrian warning light and movement alarm, straight through platform, power folding platform and safety arms, motorized ramps and pendant control. Standard finish options: White (RAL 9003). Stainless steel rails for outdoor units (required upgrade).
Safety Features
Sensor system on the platform, non-skid platform with side safety flaps, overspeed governor, manual lowering device, power folding safety arms, keyed access for call stations and emergency stop button.
Machine Roomless
Motor is unobtrusively installed at the top landing, with the controller located remotely, no machine room required.
ADA-Compliant
Power foldaway platform is available in 2 sizes including ADA-compliant size and custom sizing.
