The P.A.L.-EN is manufactured by Concord Elevator Inc. and is a vertical wheelchair platform lift designed to provide a safe and reliable means of vertical access for persons with physical disabilities.

The P.A.L.-EN has an enclosed aluminum frame runway enclosure with your choice of either tempered glass, steel, clear, or tinted plexiglass panels. Each enclosure is tailored to the exact vertical dimensions of your application and can include a dome or sloped roof.

The P.A.L.-EN has a reliable 1:2 cable hydraulic drive system and is available in two standard platform sizes, both with 42 1/4" high barrier side walls. The emergency battery powered "backup" system provides lowering and raising of the lift even during a main power failure. The emergency battery is kept ready and fully charged by an automatic battery recharging system. Safety features include electro-mechanical interlocks on the gates and doors (to prevent movement of the lift if the gate is not closed and locked), constant pressure control buttons, safety handrail, emergency stop switch, final limit switch, and anti-slip flooring.

The P.A.L.-EN can be installed indoors or outdoors and will look new for years due to its electrostatically applied baked-on polyester gloss powder coat paint.
